sunday morning

A phone call from my friend
Just got off the phone with Diana in Olancha, CA. Sure was good hearing from her! She sounded ever so tired. There is so much going on up there. I was telling her of my idea of turning the power on at my place and get the well fired up next time I head out there so that I could get some plants put in and get a big drip line set up so that my place will ha e shade!
what a mess
i set up a thing with the bank to be able to transfer funds from one bank to another. Fine and good, except now i can’t get into my other account…”login failure”. Damn! It is telling me that the pass word is not valid. BULLSHIT! So i hit the forgot password and am still waiting for them to send me a temporary one. I only have a 20 minute window of opportunity to use...
End of the day
Going to call it a day. Now I will settle in with my book, my dogs and cats. They love this time of night, they know I’m not going anywhere for the rest of the night, they are here next to me on the bed! So cozy!
Short day!
Company picnic today so us lowly contract workers have to go home for the day! Talking of 11am but hell it’s so slow so we all might pack it up earlier!
There really isn’t anything going on here. I can’t see just hanging around killing time. The “vampire” is non-stop talking. I might leave earlier just to get away from her bullshit.
update on my Blackberry phone
well, good news: it works again! YAY!!!! I took it with me to work and left it set in my car the entire day…of course the sun was out, the car got hot and dried up the insides of the phone. As an added thing, after i got home i set it out on my black motorcycle which was super hot, left it there while i took my dogs to the park. fate of my blackberry
go figure, I dropped my Blackberry in the sink that was full of water…dammit! I tried drying it out in the sun today, but the keys are all fucked up and you can see the water behind the screen. So i got on my motorcycle and took a ride over to the Tmobile place and got them to get me a replacement. I wanted the same kind of phone that i dropped in the water. I really like the Blackberry...
Got work to do
At least there is work to do today. I have 2 static tests to run and I got the “go ahead” to clean out the room in the basement that has lots of older stuff in it. And it is humpday!
Mind is at my desert home
Walking into work I am looking at the full moon wishing I were seeing it over the Funeral Range Mts outside my front door in Amargosa Valley.
Too much to eat :(
Yuk! The chicken was good but it’s not my favorite thing to eat. Tried to get everyone to go dutch instead of ma always picking up the tab. No wonder she is always running low on money. Pa was right about her going through money like it is an endless supply. She gets 700 a month and there is never any left by the end of the month.

Roller skating
Got a lot done today. Got the grass cut, went to the library, grocery shopping and the hit the roller rink! Spent about 2 hours there. Got a good workout, worked up a sweat!
After I got home from ther I took my dogs to the park, got back and gave my terrier a bath to cool him down.
Then onto the internet for a while. I’m downloading an audio book onto Itunes for my Ipod.
Desert home
Tearing down boxes that I put together months ago. Oh well, if they want to pay me take them apart then fine! Cake work!
But being down here working by myself for some reason got me thinking of my home in Amargosa. I miss my place there. My home sits out there just waiting for me to come home. I just want to pack up and get the hell out of here. This damned Chapter 13 is throwing a wrench into...
Slow week
I hate when there’s nothing to do at work. Trying to stay “busy” at odd ball crap is crazy. Makes for a very long day
Hump day
Not a lot happening at work. That always makes for a long day. Then the supervisor is taking off today and the rest of the week. I don’t know when she is leaving the department for good. It’s worse when she’s gone because AP just fucks around all day on her text messages and CONSTANT talking about her ass hole boy friend. Never ending drama queen. Bitch!

Clean up day
The big project that had me doimg OT here at work is done. Not a lot going on. Lots of moving from one place to another because of all this construction. I suppose that’s what I’ll be doing today
Motorcycle
Another day of thunderstorms in the forecast so once again I didn’t ride my bike to work. It averages 60MPG! Can’t beat that!
Sunday OT!
Sitting here in the parking lot waiting for the boss to get here with badge to get into the building. Not sure how many hours I will get in today but it will be added to my 17 hours that I already have!!
Saturday night
getting close to 10am. I just finished off some emails to my friends. Now will get ready for bed since i have to go to work tomorrow for more OT! So far i have 17 hours of OT + whatever i work tomorrow to add to it! should be a really nice pay check. Glad the chapter 13 shits don’t touch my OT money…bastards.

Supervisor
Just found out my supervisor is transferring to another department!
Also found out we will probably be going back to regular 8 hour days starting next week. It will be nice to get off work at 2:30 instead of 4:30!!

WOW what a nice thunder, lightening, rain happening now! I love storms like this but too bad I am not at home in bed reading my library book. Off to work for another long day:(
Diana called
Whoa, my best friend called tonite…I was sound asleep. She forgets the 3 hour time difference! Oh well, it’s always good hearing from her. She said there is major lash flooding there at the ranch, a road is taken out. Lots of rain!
Well, off to bed again. Sure hate having to be up at 4:10am
